Accountant at heart and Accountant as a profession.  

SumRise Financial Consulting, LLC became a business in March, 2024.  Even though it is a fairly new business, accounting is not new to us. After 22 years of experience teaching business and working in the accounting field, I decided I wanted to help small businesses and individuals succeed. I have worked with many small businesses doing a variety of tasks.

When I was teaching I had the opportunity to teach personal finance and college accounting, along with other business courses, to high school students. I started working on a business plan to make my dream of starting my own business a reality.  Even before SumRise Financial Consulting, LLC became a company, my dream business started. Ever since I got my accounting degree, I've been helping small businesses set up their accounting on QuickBooks and day-to-day bookkeeping.

We moved to Phoenix in 2022, where I met business owners who wanted someone to help them and individuals who want to own their own future. I knew this was where I wanted to be. So SumRise Financial Consulting, LLC was created.
